The spirit world in form: The Watchers.

The watcher-helper 'spirits' -- in this case, animal spirits -- have manifested through me here in hamster-form.

These are on the periphery, always paying attention, radiating and at times expelling pulses of pure joy toward you, and in your general direction, influencing mood or room humor.

Often residing in the walls, floors, pillars, door-frames, basements, church hallways, derelict tennis courts, disused seal-pools, sidewalk cracks, or other seemingly solid material places, these denizens of the spirit world are buoyant and impartial.

They are plentiful and there is most surely one or more observing you at this very moment!

There exist different qualities or "person"alities of Watcher. Examples here are:
A night-side companion. Being eerie in the way that an owl might -- bringing a tone of disquiet or uncertainty to the evening-time.
The dawn or daylight friend. Brings relief like the first ray of sun over the horizon. Hope renewed.
A northern helper. Resides almost entirely in extreme latitudes and tundratic climes, and follows closely caribou migrations, helping out where needed.

Though here the eyes have been depicted as "large" (implying watchfulness), no physical "eyes" exist as such, but to explain so that the world of matter may infer meaning and metaphor, they can engender a feeling of not quite being alone. A tingling spine or a strong need to whistle may indicate their presence.

Save your concerns! No harm is ever wished or caused.

I was a Junior Animator for Code Monkeys. Here are a few examples of my work.

Below you'll see a reel of Interstitials (those short bits in-between):

Here is a short, unofficial piece I did using the characters and pre-existing sound from the show. It's called "Cactus Ride".
